Gul Panag is an Indian actress and former beauty queen who won Miss India title in 1999. Gul Panag made her Bollywood debut in 2003 in movie Dhoop. Since then, she has worked in several Bollywood movies like Jurm, Ab Tak Chhappan 2 and many more. The actor in an interview shared that, Bollywood is a part of her life and she really has a great journey in Bollywood. She has done some noteworthy characters in the movies like Dor, Dhoop, Manorama Six Feet Under and Ab Tak Chhappan 2. In her Bollywood career, she has shared the screen with actors like Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan.

Dhoop (2003):

Dhoop was Gul Panag’s Bollywood debut and she portrayed the character of the captain Rohit Kapoor’s (Sanjay Suri) wife. She essayed the role of quiet dignity. The movie is based on the events surrounding the death of Honorable Captain Anuj Nayyar. Other actors in the movie were Om Puri and Revathi and even they gave their stellar performance as supporting cast.

Dor (2006):

Dor is an Indian drama film written and directed by Nagesh Kukunoor. The movie features Ayesha Takia, Gul Panag and Shreyas Talpade in lead roles. Gul Panag’s performance in Dor was most memorable and highly appreciated. She portrayed the role of an independent and strong-willed woman, Zeenat Fatima, who went miles to save her husband. This was one of the best choices of role in Gul Panag’s acting career.

Manorama Six Feet Under (2007):

Manorama Six Feet Under was an Indian- thriller movie directed and co-written by Navdeep Singh. The movie features Abhay Deol, Raima Sen and Gul Panag in pivotal roles. In this movie, Gul Panag portrayed the role of a typical Indian wife. The movie was based on Chinatown by Roman Polanski, the basic setup of the movie was similar to original, but there was a slight change in the representation of characters and some key points.

Gul Panag will make a comeback to the silver screen with Bypass Road movie directed by Naman Nitin Mukesh. It is a crime-thriller and will also feature Neil Nitin Mukesh, Sudhanshu Pandey and Adah Sharma in pivotal roles. The film is produced by Neil Nitin Mukesh in association with Miraj Group. The movie will hit theatres on November 1. After this, she will be seen in Pawan Pooja directed by Shaad Ali. She will also feature in Rangbaaz Season 2 web series alongside Jimmy Shergill.
