Chhapaak: All you need to know about lead actor Vikrant Massey

Chhapaak is an upcoming Hindi film based on true events from the life of Laxmi Agarwal. Meghna Gulzar will helm the movie and produced by Deepika Padukone and Meghna Gulzar in collaboration with Fox Star Studios. The movie is scheduled to release in January 2020. Deepika's character is inspired by Laxmi Agarwal, who is an acid attack survivor. She is a TV host and started a campaign to ban the sale of acid. Although the actor did not disclose anything about the movie, he only said that he is proud to be a part of the project and the subject addressed in the film is incredibly sensitive. About Vikrant Massey Vikrant Massey has established himself very well in the Indian television industry. He is a well-trained Ballet dancer. He has also worked with the popular dancer Shaimak Davar. The actor has now completed six years in the Indian film industry. He has worked in various television series like Balika Vadhu, Baba Aiso Varr Dhoondo, and Disney Channel India's Dhoom Machaao Dhoom. The actor made his Bollywood debut in Vikramaditya’s Lootera in 2013. He has also appeared in several television commercials. Vikrant has geared up for his role in Chhapaak. The actor will work opposite Deepika Padukone in the lead role. The movie will address the sensitive topic of acid attack survivors and the havoc that is wreaked upon them. Deepika is set to play the role of Laxmi Agarwal, a real-life acid attack survivor who is now the founder of the Stop Acid Sale campaign. Chhapaak is set to release in January 2020.
