Chhapaak is an upcoming film of actor Deepika Padukone. The first look from her upcoming release has enthralled her fans. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the movie is reportedly a cinematic retelling of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. Laxmi Agarwal was attacked at the age of 15, by her brother's friend Guddu, as an act of revenge. The movie narrated the real-life story of Ramachandra Siras. Aligarh released in 2015, was hailed by the critics for depicting the tale of Siras with all warmth and honesty. The Attacks of 26/11 (2013)
The movie narrated the 72-hour ordeal faced by the city of Mumbai, during the 2008 terrorist attack. Directed by Ram Gopal Verma, the movie featured Nana Patekar, Atul Kulkarni, among others. The movie was appreciated by the critics for its cinematic retelling of the 26/11 terrorist attack. Adarsh posted a review hailing the movie for its brave and powerful plot. Talvar (2015)
