Deepika and Anushka prove oversized white sweaters are in vogue

 Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone and Anushka Sharma are celebrated not only for their on-screen performances but also for their amazing dressing sense. The recent fashion statements set out by the Bollywood divas suggests that oversized white sweaters are in trend now. 

Newlywed Deepika Padukone was recently spotted donning a turtle-neck white oversized sweater with a pair of denim at the Mumbai airport. The diva carried the casual look with a complete ace.

However, this is not the first time, Deepika wore a white sweater. While leaving for Italy ahead of her wedding, the style icon was spotted donning an oversized off-white turtleneck sweater which she teamed up with a coordinating knit midi skirt with a short side slit. She stuck true to her statement pulled back sleek hair, winged eyeliner, nude lips, nude stilettos, and her alluring smile.

Meanwhile, media reports suggest that 'Pari' actress Anushka Sharma was also spotted sporting a similar look year back ahead of tying the knot with her now-husband Viral Kohli. She looked phenomenal in the snaps clicked at the time. The only difference between their attire was the choice of footwear.

However, it's not just the uncanny outfit resemblance of the diva's pre-wedding looks, Deepika and Anushka have quite a lot of similarities including their wedding destination and designer who created their wedding attires. Both of them tied the knot in Lake Como Italy in the month of December in a gap of a year. Interestingly, the actress who marked their Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan donned Sabyasachi couture for their day.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Anushka's recent film 'Zero' marked a grand release on Friday, December 21. The Anand L Rai's directorial also stars Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. The film has received mixed reviews from the audience and critics.

On the other hand, Deepika has been roped for Meghna Gulzar's next venture 'Chhapaak' which is based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi. The actress will be featured opposite 'Half Girlfriend' actor Vikrant Massey in the film.
