Deepika Padukone-Ranbir Kapoor’s on-screen chemistry sparkles in Ad

Co-stars, former lovers and now friends, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are the perfect examples of how exes can remain friends. The duo collaborated for the films like Yeh Jawaani Hai Diwani and Tamasha after their break up. Their on-screen chemistry is much talked about in the industry and many of them believe that Deepika looks best with Ranbir Kapoor.
Ranbir and Deepika have excellent chemistry every time they shared the screen space. The duo starred together for the first time in the movie Bachna Ae Haseeno in 2008. In an interview with an entertainment portal, Ranbir once said that on-screen chemistry is not showing off what you can do. For her, it’s working in synchronization with your co-star. Deepika also said that they share a level of comfort which makes them feels like friends.
The Bajirao Mastani actor further said that the chemistry depends on the kind of work they do. What he and Deepika shared in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani or Tamasha was a different kind of equation. He also said that the audience and fans like to see them in certain types of movies. When she was asked about whether she is comfortable with Ranbir, she told that it depends on the kind of characters and the roles they are playing in the film.
Recently, Deepika shared the after the night pictures of Filmfare Awards. She posted an adorable picture with her ‘favs’ in one frame which also features Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Vicky Kaushal. The three of them can be seen holding the trophies. Apart from this, the actors recently framed in for an ad of Asian paints. Their fans just loved it and the ad has been shared widely on the Internet.
Upcoming movies of the actors
After the success of Padmaavat, Deepika Padukone is currently filming for her upcoming movies. In Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak, she will play the role of an acid attack survivor. The film is also a debut production venture of Deepika. Her other movie, ’83 will see Deepika playing Ranveer Singh's reel wife.
Ranbir Kapoor has his hands full with the Ayan Mukherji-directorial Brahmastra opposite Alia Bhatt and Shamshera opposite Vaani Kapoor. The actor was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanju, co-starring with Sonam Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Paresh Rawal and Manisha Koirala. The film earned several nominations at the 64th Filmfare Awards and Ranbir Kapoor won Best Actor for the film.
