Deepveer wedding anniversary: Throwback pictures of the couple from their big day

Exactly a year ago today, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied a knot at Lake Como in Italy. Eventually, the duo fell in love while shooting for the film Ram Leela and dated for several years before getting hitched. The duo kept their relationship low-key but also, did not shy away from hiding their love for each other. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone always commented on each other’s pictures on Instagram and nothing changed even after they got married. They will be celebrating their first wedding anniversary while we still haven’t gotten over their wedding pictures. Here's a throwback.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's throwback pictures from their wedding : 

The wedding rituals which happened at Lake Como's Villa del Balbianello in Italy. It was witnessed by close friends and family members of the duo. The couple got married in a Konkani tradition followed by a Sindhi wedding. Outfits for the Sindhi wedding were designed and styled by Sabyasachi. Deepika Padukone's sari for the Sindhi wedding was from The House of Angadi, Bengaluru.

Konkani wedding :

For the Mehendi ceremony, Deepika wore a light pink Sabyasachi outfit. Another outfit she chose for her pre-wedding ceremony Deepika Padukone opted for golden sari. Ranveer Singh wore a white kurta and dhoti, with a golden border. For the Konkani wedding, Deepika Padukone wore a red sari which was from a famous store in Banglore. She completed the whole look with big jhumkas and traditional gajras.

Sindhi wedding :

For the Sindhi wedding, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone both opted for matching coloured outfits. She wore a sindoor red lehenga with a matching veil, covering her head. She wore a huge maangtika and similarly designed earrings to complete the whole look. Ranveer Singh wore a sherwani with traditional jewellery and a pagdi to top it all. The couple certainly brought the wedding of a king and queen to real life.

Reception:

After a private wedding in Italy, the wedding celebrations did not seem to stop at all for the celebrity couple. They had three grand receptions for separate guests and the party went on till wee hours in the morning. Ever since their wedding, the pictures of the duo surfing online is giving their fans major couple goals.
