Certain reports were being circulated that said Dimple Kapadia was hospitalised. Squashing  the rumours, the actress told a news agency that she is 'alive and kicking' and that it was her mother Betty Kapadia who has been hospitalised. She further revealed that her mother is doing fine and is better now. She concluded by saying that she need all the prayers and best wishes right now.

Veteran Bollywood actor Dimple Kapadia's mother Betty Kapadia has been admitted to Hinduja hospital in suburban Khar, sources said on Saturday. "She was admitted to the hospital on November 14. She is in the ICU," the hospital sources said, without divulging more details.Earlier in the day, there were rumours about Dimple being hospitalised after her daughter Twinkle and son-in-law Akshay Kumar were seen at the hospital.

Veteran actor Dimple Kapadia will feature in Christopher Nolan's next film, which has been named 'Tenet'. According to the reports, the film is currently being shot in Estonia. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Kenneth Branagh, Clemence Poesy and Michael Caine have also joined the cast. John David Washington, Elizabeth Debicki and Robert Pattinson were already on board.Tenet" will not be Kapadia's first appearance in an English language film. She was noted for her portrayal of the title role in the American production "Leela" (2002).
