Triptii Dimri has found the spotlight with her portrayal of Zoya in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal. She has also shared screen space with Sridevi in the past.
Triptii Dimri has been making the news owing to her small but impactful role of Zoya, in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's early December release, Animal. Triptii shared the screen in a brief sequence opposite Ranbir Kapoor which carried intimate scenes showcasing the on-screen pair's chemistry. Since the release of Animal, Triptii's fan base and favour with the audience has skyrocketed. While the actress' previous work - particularly Bulbbul and Qala, put her on the map, her role in Animal is what is being considered her breakthrough. However, not many know how Triptii once shared screen space with the late Sridevi.
Triptii Dimri's blink-and-miss appearance in Mom
For the unversed, Sridevi's last film before her sudden passing was 2017 release Mom. The actress essayed the role of a stepmother out to avenge her stepdaughter's traumatic experience, the latter role being essayed by Sajjal Ali. In a now resurfaced clip, it has been revealed how Triptii Dimri was very much a part of the film.
In a classroom sequence as Sridevi's Devki addresses the students, one among the many faces, is Triptii. Though the role holds no greater relevance in the film, it brings into perspective the actress' career graph, from holding small roles to now being dubbed the 'national crush'.
What is next for Triptii Dimri?
Triptii Dimri is currently basking in the success of Animal, enjoying all the appreciation coming her way. The budding actress has two films in her pipeline. The first among this - Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam - will feature her opposite Vicky Kaushal.
Recently, pictures of the two in the midst of a song shoot for the film were also leaked. Post this, she will be seen in film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video which she is currently filming for.
