We may not see Game of Thrones for another year but the frenzy is far from over. With plenty of fan theories, speculations and re-runs of binge-watching the old seasons, Game of Thrones remains to be one of the most highly discussed topics. But what happens if Bollywood suddenly takes over Westeros? Read on:
1) Jon Snow - Farhan Akhtar
Both are soft-spoken and multi-talented. Both are good looking and have shown leadership skills when the time had come. While Jon Snow came back from the dead, Farhan too reinvented himself as a singer and showed a whole new side to him.
2) Cersei Lannister - Kareena Kapoor
She's smart, beautiful and cunning. In Bollywood, nobody plays the Game of Thrones better than Kareena Kapoor. She is aware of what everybody is doing in the industry. She keeps her friends close but enemies closer - and makes for the perfect Cersei Lannister.
3) Sansa Stark - Shraddha Kapoor
Just like Sansa, Shraddha always meant to be a queen. Her path wasn't easy and she had a few drawbacks along the way but now has well and truly found her feet. You can underestimate her at your own peril and she's perceived to be gullible when she's not - just like Sansa.
4) Arya Stark - Alia Bhatt
This one is pure grit and determination. Written off by everybody within the industry, Alia has bounced back and has proved to be one of Bollywood's top actresses - through sheer talent. She has shown a willingness to experiment and work hard as well as the hunger to succeed. Who better than Alia to portray Arya Stark
5) Daenerys Targaryen - Kangana Ranaut
She rose against all odds to become the queen of Bollywood. She's nice and compassionate with people she likes and gets attached very easily. But those who defy her are in for trouble as Kangana can literally breathe fire. She never backs down from a fight and takes on whoever comes in her way - no matter how powerful.
6) Petyr Baelish - Akshay Kumar
He was neither born with a golden spoon nor did he belong to a royal filmi family. And yet, he stayed in the right places and worked hard to become one of the biggest superstars of the industry. Just like Baelish, who became one of the most powerful people in Westeros despite not wearing the crown.
7) Khal Drogo - Ranveer Singh
He's strong, fierce and carefree. He wears his heart on his sleeve and is loved by the ladies. Are we talking about Ranveer Singh or Khal Drogo? Confused, right? That's how similar the two of them are. Ranveer may not have horses or the Dothraki with him but he has a lot more in common with Khal Drogo.
8) Varys - Anupam Kher
Like Varys, Anupam Kher is well-liked, respected and has friends everywhere. He may not be a superstar but he's always a crucial cog in the wheel, without whose support the whole thing may collapse. Like the realm needs Varys, Bollywood certainly needs Anupam Kher.
9) Jamie Lannister - Hrithik Roshan
Hrithik Roshan's career trajectory is extremely similar to Jamie's progress in Game of Thrones. Hrithik started off as this young, bullish star who rose to instant superstardom. Gradually, Hrithik started to mature as an actor and a star, but it has now reached a stage where you just feel sorry for him. Just like how you feel sorry for Jamie Lannister.
10) Night King - Sanjay Dutt
The ultimate badass. He was away for a long time (Let's call it beyond the wall) but he's now back and means business. A man of few words but with intense expressions, Sanjay Dutt has the ability to send chills down your spine. With him around, winter is well and truly here.
