FWICE to MEA Jaishankar: Don't allow 'superb' Diljit Dosanjh's US visa

The Federation of Western Cine Employees has written to the Minister of External Affairs, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar to cancel the visa of Diljit Dosanjh

The Federation of Western Cine Employees has written to the Minister of External Affairs, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar to cancel the visa of Bollywood singer and actor, Diljit Dosanjh who allegedly accepted the invitation of Mr. Rehan Siddiqi, who is a Pakistani national, for a performance in the United States of America on September 21.

FWICE demands Diljit Dosanjh's visa be cancelled: 

In a letter dated September 3 to the Ministry of External Affairs, the film body stated, "It is our humble request to you to cancel the vis of Mr. Diljit Dosanjh and his troupe or the application for a visa be not granted to restrain their performance in America as it will be labeled anti-national'. FWICE requests Diljit Dosanjh to cancel Pak tour: 

In a letter dated 6th September and addressed to Diljit Dosanjh, the FWICE have clearly stated that through the document they want to draw attention to the 'unbridled race of Artists/Singers/Dancers and Performers' as they have been informed about the invitation of Rehan Siddiqi to him (Dosanjh) for a stage performance as a singer in America

"You are a thorough gentleman and a superb artist which is the pride of India. It is, therefore, a humble request top you to cancel your performance for 21st Sept 2019 in America as it will be befitting in the current time", the letter further stated. Read it below- 

FWICE in another statement: 

FWICE then also issued a press release stating that they are deeply concerned and anguished by various artists as they are 'knowingly' performing in India despite the film bodies strict warnings. "We have also come to know from our reliable sources that actor Saif Ali Khan and singer Shreya Ghoshal, in particular, are giving [performances in America at the behest of Mr. Rehan Siddiqi, a Pakistani national.
