Guns and Gulaabs trailer: Rajkummar Rao, Dulquer Salmaan to bring back 90s Bollywood charm

Dulquer Salmaan and Rajkummar Rao will be seen sharing the screen for the first time with each other in the series titled Guns and Gulaabs. The series will also feature Gulshan Devaiah and Adarsh Gourav in prominent roles. Recently, the makers of the film have unveiled the trailer of the web series set in a fictional town called Gulaabganj.

Guns and Gulaabs trailer features utter chaos

The makers have finally unveiled the trailer for the web series Guns and Gulaabs. The show is set in the fictional town of Gulaabganj and has been made as an ode to bringing back the charm of the 90s Bollywood films. The trailer of the series seemed promising and revolved around the lives of a reluctant heir to a gangster, a lovestruck mechanic, and a police officer who is turned agent of chaos.

The clip also featured multiple characters, including a trio of schoolmates, from the show dealing with chaos, betrayal, and heartbreak. Nevertheless, the series is a perfect blend of comedy, violence, love and has been set against the backdrop of comedic power struggles and revenge plots. Meanwhile, the series will start streaming on August 18.

Raj and DK share their thoughts on Guns and Gulaabs

Talking about their upcoming web series, Raj and DK stated, "Guns & Gulaabs has been an exhilarating journey for us. This time we went back to our favourite territory... embracing the storytelling style of our earlier films (99, Shor In The City). And somewhere along this process, we found ourselves creating a genre-mash in a pulpy, retro style."
