Five interesting facts about Happy New Year
1. During the end credits of Happy New Year, Shah Rukh Khan's younger son, AbRam, made his first screen debut. Though he was seen for a few seconds, his jovial attitude and good looks captivated the hearts of movie-goers.
2. Happy New Year marked the 15th year anniversary of music director duo Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani in the film industry. The music director duo debuted in 1999 with Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi.
3. Reportedly, King Khan was under a strict diet and workout routine to achieve the desired look for the film. Allegedly, the director wanted Shah Rukh Khan to flaunt eight packs abs in the film, and well, he did.

4. Reportedly, Farhan Khan had offered John Abraham a role in Happy New Year. But due to his prior work commitments, the actor did not accept the role.
5. The rumour mills say that the role of Mohini, a bar dancer, was initially offered to Ankita Lokhande. But due to undisclosed reasons, the actor could not take it up. The role later was portrayed by Deepika Padukone. The actor won accolades for her performance in the film.
