House Arrest: Here’s all you need to know about the Netflix movie

House Arrest is a unique story of a man who refuses to leave his house. He has been on a house arrest for the past six months and aspires to keep on doing so. Ali Fazal plays the leading role in the Netflix original movie. Shriya Pilagonkar plays the role of his potential love interest in the film, and she is a journalist by profession.

The film also casts Padmavaat star Jim Sarbh, who plays the role of Ali Fazal’s best friend. He tries to get the man out of his house but fails miserably. Barkha Singh is also a part of the movie. She plays the role of one of Ali Fazal’s friends. The trailer of the upcoming movie was recently released online.

In another video that was recently released, it has been revealed that Shriya Pilgaonkar is researching about a Japanese concept Hikkikomori. A concept that deals with people who don’t leave their house and are stuck in the world of gadgets. However, Shriya wants to meet Ali to know if he is someone with the concept.

The netizens have reacted positively to the trailer of the movie. The trailer was deemed to be intriguing and eye-catching. It is alleged that while many joked out the storyline being relatable and writing that this story is about them, many complimented the makers for a great concept. The movie is directed by Samit Basu, Shashanka Ghosh and written by Samit Basu. House Arrest is produced by Trilok Malhotra and KR Harish of India Stories Media and Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. Actors Ali Fazal and Shriya Pilgaonkar have previously shared the screen space in the popular series Mirzapur. The film is slated to air on November 15, 2019.
