Housefull 4 is in the post-production phase and reports say Akshay Kumar and Rana Daggubati are starring in a qawwali song together. The Housefull franchise has come with its fourth sequel under the Nadiadwala Grandson banner. The movie is slated to release on October 26, 2019.

The qawwali sequence in Housefull 4 is going to be a face-off between Akshay Kumar and Rana Daggubati. The song is supposed to take the story forward. Housefull 4 is divided into two eras - past and present. The qawwali song is set in the present era and has been shot in Mumbai. The other scenes from the present era have been shot in London while the flashback portions of the past have been shot in Rajasthan. The second half of Housefull 4 is a parody on SS Rajamouli's epic saga, Baahubali. Being the most expensive comedy movie ever made, Housefull 4 is going to have a reincarnation storyline.

Cast and crew

Housefull 4 boasts a huge star cast - Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda, Pooja Hegde, Rana Daggubati, Johnny Lever, Chunky Pandey, Boman Irani and Nawazuddin Siddiqui among a host of others. Farhad has replaced Sajid Khan after the #MeToo controversy. Farhad has also written and composed the basic tune for the qawwali. Rana, on the other hand, has replaced the veteran actor, Nana Patekar as the villain in the Housefull 4. Akshay, Ritesh, Boman, Chunky will be seen in their reprised role in the fourth sequel of the Housefull franchise. 

Rana Daggubati talks about his experience on the sets of Housefull 4

Talking about his experience on the sets of Housefull 4, Rana has said that it was more of a party than work. He also went on to say that he does not have any problem with an ensemble cast. He found it to be a fun experience. Recalling his experience of working with Akshay Kumar, Rana reportedly said that it was pleasant working with him and one gets to learn a lot from the Khiladi.

Akshay Kumar has recently celebrated the success of Mission Mangal where he played the role of an Indian scientist. Akshay will be next seen in Good Newwz along with Kareena Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani. He also has Raghava Lawrence’s Laxmmi Bomb and Rohit Shetty’s cop drama Sooryavanshi in his kitty. He will also star in the period-drama Prithviraj and in the sequel of Holiday. The movies will release sometime in 2020.
