The ‘Hrithik Roshan-Kangana Ranaut’ controversy became much more than just two superstars and former co-stars taking on each other with legal notices over an alleged affair, marriage proposal, ‘leak’ of intimate pictures and ‘hacking’ of emails at the start of 2016. While the controversy subsided over the years, its magnitude can be understood by the fact that it keeps returning to the headlines time and again. The most recent instance was when Hrithik postponed the release of his next to avoid a clash with Kangana’s film and save himself from ‘toxic mental violence.’ He has now broken his silence on the row stating that he has learnt to not be affected by any of it. The actor also lashed out at ’supposedly enlightened’ people because of which this ‘circus’ has been going on for six years. The ‘Krrish 3’ star also stated that there is no direct legal case he had with the ‘lady’ since the general consensus is that a man cannot be stalked in India.

Hrithik is currently on a promotional spree for ‘Super 30’, his first release after over two years since ‘Kaabil’. In one of the interviews, the actor was asked how he managed to not react to ‘provocation’ over Kangana’s digs at him, he replied that ‘bullies’ had to be treated with patience and not by engaging with him.

The 45-year-old said the so-called ‘just and fair’ civil society had to judge if there was harassment or not in his case. The ‘Jodhaa Akbar’ star stated that he is termed as an ‘aggressor’ when he decides to take the legal route, but as ‘weakling penning a sob story’ when he withdraws from a film clash. Hrithik then asserted that in both the cases, he has learned not to be affected by it.

However, he stated that what affected him the most was ‘supposedly enlightened people’ who supported the behaviour against him as ‘new’ and ‘refreshing audacity’, without any attempt to be rational and truthful. The actor termed this section as the ‘enablers’ that allowed the ‘circle’ to run for six years.

Regarding the legal battle with Kangana, Hrithik stated that he doesn’t have any legal case with the ‘lady’. The actor said that the reason for the same was because ‘apparently a man cannot be stalked in India.’
