The much-celebrated Bollywood venture 'Love Aaj Kal' completed 10 years of its release on Wednesday, July 31. To celebrate the occasion, director Imtiaz Ali shared a heartfelt post on social media. He took to Instagram and shared an eye-grabbing poster of the 2009 venture which starred Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone in the lead. The poster features a glass of tea and a paper-cup of coffee kept side by side. While the tea reads: Pyaar 1965, the paper cup read: love 1995.
Imtiaz Ali who is currently busy in making of the sequel of the 'Love Aaj Kal' talked about how 'love relationship has changed dramatically' over the past 10 years. He further expressed his views on modern-day relationships and said, "The way young people think of relationship now, I could not have predicted ten years back. It’s fascinating and very inspiring."

'Love Aaj Kal' was an off-age romantic drama which two lovers find themselves overcoming distances, failures, and heartbreaks to find each other again and preserve what they had abandoned. It was a massive hit and has collected over Rs. 240 crore as of 2019.

Meanwhile, Imtiaz Ali's upcoming venture titled 'Aaj Kal' stars Saif Ali Khan's daughter Sara Ali Khan opposite Kartik Aaryan in the lead. The filmmaker lapped up the opportunity to cast the duo amid their comments for each other making headlines ever since the newcomer said she wants to date the ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ star.
Recently Sara and Kartik wrapped up shooting for the upcoming venture which is set for Valentine's day release in 2020.
