Indian Police Force actress Shweta Tiwari to join Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone starrer Singham Again

Shweta Tiwari is gearing up for the release of the upcoming project Indian Police Force, helmed by Rohit Shetty. During the trailer launch event, the director revealed that not just the Indian Police Force but Shweta will also be seen in his next film, Singham Again. He also spills the beans about Sweta's role in the film. However, the actor is yet to welcome her officially to the squad.

Shweta Tiwari bags Singham Again?

During the launch event, Rohit Shetty didn't reveal much about Shweta's role in the upcoming web series but revealed that she will be playing an intelligence officer in the film. Shweta, who was present at the press conference added, "Rohit sir told me that he will give me another project only if I get food on the set of Indian Police Force every day. But without any of that, he offered his next film (laughs).”

The actress also shared her experience working for the first time with the director after her stint on the reality show hosted by Shetty. She also recalled accepting the offer without even listening about her role in the series. She said, "Being a part of Rohit Shetty’s cop universe is an honour in itself. I was so excited when I got a call from his team."

Recalling the time she received the call, the actress said, "When asked if I want to be a part of it, I excitedly said a yes! When asked if I wanted to listen to my character first, I said, ‘No! It’s okay, I am doing it.’ I had first met sir during Khatron Ke Khiladi. I used to be very scared of him. I am still so scared of him. On set, however, he made everyone comfortable.”

Shweta Tiwari has a pivotal role in the Indian Police Force, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Vivek Oberoi. A glimpse of the actress was also shown in the trailer in which she was seen crying sitting in front of the dead body. The series is slated to release on January 19 on Prime Video.
