There is always some or the other rumour springing around on the internet about the celebrity world. At the time of Baahubali, it was rumoured that Prabhas was suffering from a fatal injury and was in a coma. However, he had denied it. Recently, a new brand of rumours can be seen floating around, about the actor Prabhas.

Rumours are that Prabhas was a guarantor for the movie's loan

It was allegedly said that the producers of the movie borrowed a heavy amount of money from the market. Prabhas was the guarantor for almost Rs. 50 Crores, and that had the movie failed to earn the invested amount and the interest, Prabhas would have been liable for the borrowed money. The movie is said to be made on the massive budget of Rs 250 Crores. The Hindi version alone reportedly earned more than Rs 153 Crores.

The film, by the 5th day at the box-office, had earned a grand collection of over Rs. 350 Crores

Prabhas, one of the very few South Indian actors to have his wax sculpture at Madame Tussaud’s wax museum, starred in the 2019 action thriller – Saaho. He and Shraddha Kapoor were the lead in the movie. The film marks the Hindi debut of Prabhas and Shraddha’s debut in South Indian movies. After Saaho, it is said that Prabhas will take it a notch down and not work in big-budgeted movies for a while. Saaho was extensively shot in Dubai and Austria. Most of the budget of the movie was spent on action sequences.
