Jawaani Jaaneman: All about Saif Ali Khan's upcoming debut as producer

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan is prepping up for his next venture Jawaani Jaaneman. The Nawab of Pataudi launched his other production house, Black Knight Films and will produce this coming of age father-daughter film. Saif will be seen opposite Tabu after about twenty long years, who has a prominent role in the film. They were last seen together in Sooraj Barjatya’s Hum Saath Saath Hai and David Dhawan’s Biwi No. 1, both in 1999. 

Co-producer Jay Shewakramani took to social media to announce his association with Saif Ali Khan in Jawaani Jaaneman, the previous year. Earlier, Saif was quoted by a leading daily saying that the film was lucky to have found Alaia for Jawaani Jaaneman.

Alaia F's debut film

Helmed by Nitin Kakkar, the movie also stars Pooja Bedi’s daughter Alaia F as Saif Ali Khan’s onscreen daughter. Alaia will make her debut in this coming-of-the-age drama film. She expressed gratitude to her trainers before leaving for London. She wrote a 'thank you' note with a picture of herself including her acting and dance trainers on social media. According to sources, the shooting for Jawaani Jaaneman started on June 26, 2019.

Pooja Bedi wished luck on Twitter

The debutant’s mother tweeted a picture of her daughter with co-star Saif from India-Pakistan match. She also wished Alaia for the ‘new beginnings’. Amidst getting into the skin of the character, the co-stars managed to indulge in London vibes while witnessing match on June 16th. Check out what Pooja Bedi said.

Saif Ali Khan's upcoming projects

The Jawaani Jaaneman actor is on cloud nine skies with the success of Sacred Games, as the Netflix thriller series has been nominated for International Emmy Awards. Saif Ali Khan will be next seen in Navdeep Singh’s action drama film Laal Kaptaan. The actor will star opposite Sonakshi Sinha, Manav Vij, and Zoya Hussain. Produced by Eros International, the film will hit the theatres on October 18, 2019. Saif also has Om Raut’s Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior and Pavan Kripalani’s Bhoot Police in his pipeline. Taanaji featuring Saif Ali Khan, Kajol and Ajay Devgn is slated to release on January 10, 2020. On the other hand, Bhoot Police will star Ali Fazal and Fatima Sana Sheikh alongside Saif.
