John Abraham pushes back 'Pagalpanti' for solo release of 'Marjaavaan'
John Abraham pushed back the release date of 'Pagalpanti' after being very much impressed by the trailer of Milap Milan Zaveri's upcoming film 'Marjaavaan'.

Bollywood actor John Abraham who was very much impressed by the trailer of his Satyameva Jayate director Milap Milan Zaveri's next film Marjaavaan reportedly pushed back the release date of his upcoming venture Pagalpanti. As per media reports, John Abraham's Pagalpanti which was scheduled to be released on November 8, 2019, will now be releasing on December 6, to ensure Marjaavaan will get a solo November release. As per media reports, After Milap showed John Abraham the trailer of Marjaavaan, he agreed to swap the release dates of the upcoming ventures so that Marjaavaan can benefit from a solo window. Talking about the same John Abraham reportedly said that he has it is important for all of them that Marjaavaan sets the box-office on fire.
On the other hand, hailing John Abraham as his friend and inspiration, director Milap reported said that he knows despite not being a part of Marjaavaan, he knows the 'Batla House' actor wants the best for him. 'He is the one person who believed in me when no one did', the filmmaker reportedly said. Both the films are backed by Producer Bhushan Kumar, who talking about the swap had said that their trade partners are ensuring a good release for both the films.
Marjaavaan
Marjaavan which is pegged as 'a violent, dramatic love story' stars Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh, Tara Sutaria and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles. The film brings together Milap, Riteish, and Sidharth for the second time after romantic thriller film 'Ek Villain' which also starred Shraddha Kapoor in the lead.
Pagalpanti
John Abraham's Pagalpanti is a comedy film directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Abhishek Pathak, Krishan Kumar, and Kumar Mangat. Besides John, the film also stars Anil Kapoor, Ileana D'Cruz, Arshad Warsi, Pulkit Samrat, Kriti Kharbandam, Urvashi Rautela and Saurabh Shukla in the lead. The film marks John Abraham's return to comedy genre after a long time as he has been working on back to back patriotic/ event-based films over the last couple of years.
On the work front
On the work front John Abraham latest outing 'Batla House' bagged him a lot of appreciation. The film is inspired by the controversial encounter operation which took place in Delhi in 2008. John Abraham will also be starring in the upcoming gangster drama 'Mumbai Saga' alongside Emraan Hashmi, Jackie Shroff, Sunil Shetty, Amol Gupte, Prateik Babbar, Gulshan Grover, Sameer Soni, and Rohit Roy. It will be directed by filmmaker Sanjay Gupta and is set for a June 19, 2020 release.
