John Abraham returns to the world of Pagalpanti after his injury
John Abraham suffered an injury during the shooting of his film, and he was forced to take a break. Know about his return to set and his character in the film.
After his injury, John Abraham has returned to shoot Anees Bazmee's comedy film Pagalpanti. The actor was forced to take a break as he suffered a muscle tear in his arm while shooting an action sequence. Although John was advised by doctors to rest, he is going to shoot for 15 days, which is also the final shooting of the schedule.
An insider from the set revealed that there are just a few days left for the shooting, and John did not want to delay things. He further added that John has recovered and will start training for the remaining action sequence with PK, the fight master of the film, who will also keep in mind John’s injury. The team will be shooting across Mumbai, with a major song sequence also a part of the schedule.
John spoke about his character in the film
John mentioned to PTI that, "The last time I was doing comedy was in Welcome Back. In Pagalpanti you'll see my body language and everything else and you'll realise it's not the same John. There will be a visible change, I've tried to improve in the genre by leaps and bounds. That's what my director told me. I believe it's very important to improve. Cinema is about entertainment and if I can do a convincing job by making people laugh, it is amazing. I am excited for the film."
The entire cast of the film will be a part of this schedule, including John Abraham, Ileana D'cruz, Anil Kapoor, Kriti Kharbanda, Pulkit Samrat, and Arshad Warsi. Director Anees Bazmee is also going to film a crucial scene in a bank.
Pagalpanti is produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak's Panorama Studios and Gulshan and Bushan Kumar's T-Series. It is co-produced by Aditya Chowksey and Sanjeev Joshi. The release of the film is scheduled for November 22.
