Director Amar Kaushik's sequel to the 2018 hit has been receiving widespread praise since its release on August 15. Recently, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who is currently busy with the promotions of her upcoming film Emergency, has reacted to the box office success of Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's Stree 2.

Kangana Ranaut praised Stree 2 director

Kangana is currently preparing for her upcoming film Emergency, which focuses on the 1975 emergency declared by former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Queen actress took to her social media account to congratulate the entire team of Stree 2.

Kangana highlighted that the true hero of the film is the director. She noted that in India, directors do not receive adequate recognition, which often deters young people from pursuing careers as writers or directors.

Posting on her Instagram story, Kangana wrote, "Movie Stree has shattered all records congratulations to the entire team but the real hero of a film is the director, in India we don't give enough credit or appreciation to directors that's why not many youngsters want to be writers/directors."

She added, "Everyone who wants a career in films meets me for guidance wants to be either an actor or a superstar. Who will make movies if all become actors!!! socho!! So please learn the names of all good directors who do so much to entertain and engage you and please follow them also learn about their lives and process as well please appreciate them also and encourage them too. Stree 2 Box Office record surpasses Jawan, Pathan, Gadar 2

Stree 2 has shattered box office records, surpassing the opening day collections of Jawan, Pathan, and Gadar 2, with a staggering Rs 76.5 crore gross on its first day. As per reports, Last year, Gadar 2 was released on 11 August and started with a bang raking in a remarkable Rs 55 crores on its opening day. 

Earlier, Producer Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films proudly announced the milestone, declaring that Stree 2 has achieved the highest Day 1 box office collection in Indian cinema history. The production company expressed gratitude to the audience for their overwhelming support, marking a historic moment for the film.
