Kangana Ranaut, Rangoli Chandel celebrate early Diwali in Los Angeles
The actor's managing staff posted an update on Instagram with a video and a picture of the Diwali celebrations with the team of her upcoming project Thalaivi

Actor Kangana Ranaut and her sister, Rangoli Chandel's Diwali celebrations started early this year. They went out for a festive dinner in Los Angeles with the team of her upcoming movie Thalaivi. Kangana Ranaut 's team manages her official Instagram account and they posted a video clip where the festival of Diwali is being celebrated as sparklers fire up at the dinner table. The actor can be seen in the video looking happy and at ease.

The video has Kangana in a casual avatar and without makeup as she looks excitedly at the firework in front of her. The post is captioned "#Diwali came early for Kangana as she preps for Thalaivi in L.A. 😍😍😍". Another photo was posted by her team where the actor is seated for a meal with the crew of Thalaivi. Rangoli Chandel, her sister, is also seen seated beside her.

Kangana and her sister Rangoli are seen posing with producers Vishnu Induri, Brinda Prasad and Shailesh R Singh, along with ace costume designer Neeta Lulla. Kangana Ranaut and Rangoli, who is also her manager, are currently in Los Angeles for her upcoming film Thalaivi on the life of former Tamil Nadu chief minister, late J Jayalalithaa. The movie Thalaivi is to be directed by Tamil film director Vijay, who has also made a film called Thalaivaa in 2013.
Kangana is a character actor
Kangana Ranaut is in Los Angeles as she is working with Hollywood prosthetics expert, Jason Collins, of Captain Marvel fame, for the film. She has to undergo fittings of prosthetics to get into the character of the beloved late South Indian politician. In a recent interview with a newspaper, director Vijay shared that the film is expected to reach audiences from all over the country and that Kangana Ranaut is the ideal choice for this role. In fact, he said, Kangana is also learning Tamil for the film to get into the skin of the character.
What's next for Kangana Ranaut?
Post this project, Kangana Ranaut will be working on Fox Star Studios' Panga in which she will be seen as a kabaddi player. The actor may star in the Hindi remake of Tamil thriller Aadai, which starred Amala Paul in the titular character. It is believed that Vikram Bhatt has acquired the remake rights and has roped in Rathna Kumar, who directed Aadai, to direct the remake as well.
