Kangana Ranaut is an Indian film actor who is famous for her realistic and natural acting. She has also progressed from an actor to a director in Hindi films. She is one of the most popular faces of Bollywood and has managed to earn a National Film Award. The actor made her acting debut with  Anurag Basu’s 2006 thriller Gangster, for which she managed to win the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. She has achieved a lot throughout her 13-years-long career. Here are some of her achievements and roles for which she was highly appreciated.

Kangana’s rise to stardom with her acting skills 

Kangana is a great actor and this is confirmed by her multiple awards for her acting performances. As mentioned earlier, she was given an award for Best Female Debut by Filmfare for her debut film Gangster. The actor then went on to do some blockbuster films like  Woh Lamhe, Life in a... Metro, and then went on to do Madhur Bhandarkar’s Fashion for which she won three National Film Awards as the Best Supporting Actress. She has also managed to win the hearts of the audience and establish herself as a strong and talented actor.

After Fashion, there was no doubt that the actor has some eye-catching talent. She went on to do more amazing films for which she was appreciated and awarded. The actor was seen in Aanand L. Rai’s Tanu Weds Manu, which was a fan favourite. She was praised for her performance in the film and was awarded as the Best Actress by the National Film Award and by Filmfare. The actor has also kickstarted a movement that breaks the stereotypes of a Hindi film heroine by playing the lead character in films not starring a well-known male star. She went on to do another woman-empowering film, Queen, which is considered as one of her best performances on screen. The film won the hearts of the audience as well as the critics. Kangana was awarded Best Actress award by the National Film Award committee and also the critics choice for the same at the Filmfare awards which also helped her to emerge as one of the highest-paid actresses in Bollywood.
