Kareena Kapoor's Poo moments from Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham goes viral on film's 22nd anniversary

Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham has clocked 22 years of its release. The film featured Kareena Kapoor in a pivotal role as Pooja aka Poo. She played the role of Kajol’s younger sister and Hrithik Roshan’s love interest in the film. Kapoor’s character from the film Poo became a cult classic and is still remembered for sass and drama. On the occassion of the film’s 22nd anniversary, the actress shared a video of the best moments of her character in the film. 

Kareena Kapoor says Poo is going ‘strong’ even after 22 years 

Kareena Kapoor’s character in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham is one of her best-remembered roles to date. As the film clocked 22 years of release on December 14, the actress took to her Instagram account to share a compilation video of the character’s best moments in the film. She shared the video with the caption, “22 years and still going strong 💪 ❤️”

In the compilation video, Kareena shared glimpses of her character’s introduction shot. This is followed by her performance in the popular song Bole Chudiyaan and You Are My Soniya. She also shared a shot from her scenes with Hrithik Roshan. 

Ranveer Singh’s reaction to Kareena Kapoor’s video takes the cake 

As soon as Kareena Kapoor posted the video, several fans of her as well as her friends from the industry took to the comment section to shower their love on the character and the film. However, the one comment that caught the netizen’s attention was Ranveer Singh. The actor channelled his character from his recent outing Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and wrote, “Hi babez. 🤝🏾 Rocky Randhawa this side 😎💕🌈”, in the character’s quintessential style. 

This caught the attention of Kareena who also responded in Poo style and wrote, “Hi darling, park the car”, which is a dialogue of hers from the film itself. Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham also starred Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan and was released in 2001.
