Before her debut in Bollywood Katrina Kaif reportedly worked as a model. As per what she stated in an interview with a daily portal, Katrina was approached for a jewellery campaign at the age of 14 while living in Hawaii. After this, she took up modelling and continued her career after moving to London. It was in here, while working on a modelling assignment, that Katrina Kaif was reportedly noticed by filmmaker Kaizad Gustad. He offered her the role in his upcoming film Boom. But the movie failed miserably at the box office. Katrina Kaif then sought the advice of Salman Khan, David Dhawan and Sajid Nadiadwala. After her portfolio was made by Daboo Ratnani, modelling assignments started pouring in for the actor.
