Indian cricketer KL Rahul took to his Instagram handle to share an adorable picture with rumoured girlfriend and actress Athiya Shetty on her birthday. Athiya who turned a year older on Tuesday shared the story on her handle and replied with black hearts emoji. In the viral picture, the two can be seen sitting in a cafe behind a glass window. Earlier, while Athiya was romantically linked to global singer Drake, KL Rahul has been rumoured to be in relationship with actress Sonal Chauhan and Nidhhi Aggarwal who dismissed the gossip in several interviews. Meanwhile, on the work front, Athiya Shetty, who debuted in Bollywood with 2015 film 'Hero' opposite Sooraj Pancholi, has also featured in 2017 venture 'Mubarakan' and she will be next starring in 'Motichoor Chaknachoor' opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

Cricketer addresses dating rumours: 

KL Rahul has finally addressed his relationship status in a recent interview with an entertainment portal. "Oh, all these things have been written about? I don’t really read the papers, so I don’t know what has been written about me. I have learned to keep my personal life personal and not make it a thing to talk about. I am committed to cricket right now," he said. He was also asked if he was single or not, to which he responded saying, "I don’t really know. When I figure that out, I will give you a call and tell you.", he said.

When a picture of KL Rahul and actress Niddhi Agerwal went viral, the cricketer opened up about on Koffee with Karan and said: "It was really blown out of proportion. I have only met her once. And she is a friend from Bangalore, so there's nothing happening." In one of the interviews, Niddhi too said, "We have known each other since our teenage years, before Rahul became a cricketer and I became an actress. Though we did not go to the same college in Bangalore, but we have known each other for long."
