Koffee With Karan 6: Deepika Padukone And Ranbir Kapoor Sign A Film ?

The season 6 of the most popular and controversial chat show 'Koffee With Karan' has kickstarted. The first season started off with girl power, as two of the reigning actresses of Bollywood - Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt  graced the 'couch'. The chat show is popularly know for Karan Johar's questions which often result in some of the most controversial statements by the celebrities. 

In the first episode, Karan Johar accidentally revealed that Deepika Padukone has signed a film with her ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. However,  in his next statement he also made use of his most popular word, 'conjecture'. Karan Johar said that the statement he made was a conjecture.

Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor were last seen together in Imtiaz Ali's 'Tamasha' in the year 2015. If what Karan Johar said , turns out to be true, fans of the actor are sure to get excited. 

On the other hand, Alia Bhatt also revealed what she and Ranveer Singh have nicknamed each other. The actress who has worked with Ranveer Singh in the upcoming Bollywood movie 'Gully Boy' said that she addresses Ranveer Singh as 'tutu'.  While the 'Lootera' star addresses her as 'lulu'.

Koffee With Karan is also the show which first gave rise to the infamous nepotism debate. In 2017, Kangana Ranaut, while on the show had termed Karan Johar as the flag bearer of nepotism. He opened the show by saying that he has developed "nepospasm". It means that he develops a pain in his neck when he hears the word nepotism. 

Earlier on October 21, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh took to their respective social media handle and revealed the date of their November wedding. In the promos of the chat show, that were released ahead of the television premier of the show , Karan Johar was seen asking the two ladies as to who among them will be getting married first. Both the stars pointed out at each other. Both Karan and Alia said unitedly that they both knew that Deepika was lying. Seems like it all turned out to be true.
