Lara Dutta's recent Instagram post has grabbed many eyeballs as the former Miss Universe and Bollywood actress, shared a priceless throwback on Saturday, September 21. The actress put out a photograph from her pageant days which also features her fellow contestants Priyanka Chopra and Dia Mirza. The post is a collage of their then and now looks which has drawn the attention of many. Sharing the post, Lara revealed that she posted the throwback picture a while ago and now she came across the impressive edit which she then shared on Instagram.
Lara Dutta, Dia Mirza, and Priyanka Chopra represented India at the international beauty pageants and won prestigious titles making the country proud. Addressing Priyanka Chopra and Dia Mirza in the post, Lara wrote, "I had posted the above picture a while ago but came across this edit on Instagram and really loved it! THEN & NOW! Coming up to 20 years you guys @diamirzaofficial @priyankachopra !!!!! I love you both loads!!! 💕💕💕. So happy we’ll always have this that ties us together! 😘. One for the Motherland! 🇮🇳 🙏"

Lara Dutta, Priyanka Chopra, and Dia Mirza won the Miss India beauty pageant in the year 2000 and eventually represented India in their respective categories. While Lara Dutt emerged as Miss Universe, Priyanka Chopra was crowned Miss World, and Dia Mirza won the title of Miss Asia Pacific, making the country proud.
On the professional front
On the work front Lara Dutta who last appeared in Television drama 'Beecham House', had a brief career in Bollywood, appearing in over 30 films.
Priyanka Chopra, on the other hand, made her foot strong in both Bollywood and Hollywood. The Bollywood diva who has worked on a number of Hollywood ventures is now roped for Robert Rodriguez's Netflix feature 'We Can Be Heroes' where she will be sharing screen space with Pedro Pascal, Christian Slater, and Boyd Holbrook. Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra's Bollywood venture recently premiered at the TIFF and is set for a theatrical release in October this year.
