Singham

The first film which started the franchise was Singham. The popular South industry actor Kajal Aggarwal played the female lead in the film. She was seen as Kavya Bhosle, who comes to visit her father’s hometown. She eventually falls in love with Inspector Bajirao Singham, played by Ajay Devgn. Her innocent and funny act was loved by the audience.

Singham Returns

After three years of its first part, Singham Returns released in 2014. Ajay Devgn reprised his role as the cop. However, the leading lady for the film was changed to Kareena Kapoor Khan from Kajal Aggarwal. The two had previously worked together in several movies. Kareena as Avni was seen in a bubbly nature and her fans surely enjoyed that.

Simmba

A recent addition to the cop universe was Ranveer Singh starrer Simmba. As Ranveer played the role of Inspector Sangram Bhalerao (Simmba), the female lady was a new face. Sara Ali Khan was seen as Simmba’s love interest Shagun Sathe. It was her second movie, in the same month of her debut film. Sara gained a lot of praises and there was an evident increase in her fan following.

Sooryavanshi

The upcoming film in Rohit Shetty’s cop universe is Sooryavanshi. The movie stars Akshay Kumar as Veer Sooryavanshi. Katrina Kaif will appear alongside Akshay in the film as the leading female actor. The duo is among the most favourites in the industry. They have previously worked in hits like Namastey London, Welcome and Singh is Kinng. Fans are waiting to see Katrina and Akshay together after a long time. The movie is slated to release on March 27, 2020.
