The 2001 family drama film was the first project for which Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar collaborated. The film was produced and directed by Suneel Darshan. Aankhen
Aankhen is a 2002 thriller film was co-written and directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah. The film revolves around a hard-working short-tempered banker which was played by Amitabh Bachchan, who trains three blind people for a bank robbery to take his revenge. The film was a hit at the box office and Akshay Kumar was praised for portraying the role of one of the blind characters in the film.
Khakee
Khakee is considered as one of the best cop-drama films. It was released in 2004 and was co-written and directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. Fans loved Amitabh Bachchan as DCP Anant Kumar Shrivastav and Akshay Kumar as senior inspector Shekhar Verma. Both of the actors portrayed their role brilliantly. The film was appreciated for its smart writing.
Waqt: The Race Against Time
Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s Hindi drama film opened up to positive reviews at the time of its release. The story revolves around the conflict which arises because of the generation gap between a father and a son. Akshay Kumar played the role of a careless son to a hard-working and responsible businessman (Amitabh Bachchan) and goes through a character transformation by realising his responsibility and achieving a goal in life. Their on-screen chemistry received a lot of praises.
