Made In China: Box office collection of Rajkummar Rao’s comedy-drama
Made In China is Rajkummar Rao's latest comedy-drama that was released on October 25. It also stars Mouni Roy, Boman Irani and Paresh Rawal in lead roles.
Made in China is a Hindi comedy-drama that stars Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy in lead roles. The film was released recently, on October 25. With Housefull 4 and Saand Ki Aankh running simultaneously on screens, Made In China is struggling to make its presence felt at the box office. Reportedly, the film witnessed a dull first-week collection. According to the Box Office India reports, Made In China has so far collected 10,40,00,000 (approx) and will finish with lifetime business of under 12 crores nett.
Rajkummar Rao's Made In China
Although Made In China has received praises from critics, the film saw quite a slow start at the theatre windows. Made In China, which narrates the story of a Gujarati entrepreneur turning into a business tycoon by selling aphrodisiac, is slowly making it at the box office. Early estimates suggest that Rajkummar Rao’s Made In China, which managed to go slightly up on Day 2 by earning approximately ₹1.5 crores, collected ₹2 crores on day 3.
According to Box Office India, Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy starrer earned ₹1 crore (approx) on its opening day, which was ₹17.85 crores lesser than that of Housefull 4’s first-day collection, but ₹75 lakh more than Saand Ki Aankh on day 1. Along with Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy, Made in China also stars Boman Irani, Paresh Rawal and Sumeet Vyas in pivotal roles. Rao essays the role of Raghuvir Mehta, a Gujarati businessman and Mouni is seen as his on-screen wife. Raghuvir, an aspiring businessman wants to make it big in life. He heads to China and gets his hands on Chinese viagra, brings it in India and get into a partnership with a sexologist in India. This sexologist is played by Boman Irani.
Made In China is Rajkummar Rao’s third release of the year. His earlier two releases are Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga and Judgemental Hai Kya. He now has Hardik Mehta’s Roohi Afza and Hansal Mehta’s Turram Khan in his kitty. Mouni Roy, on the other hand, made her Bollywood debut in Akshay Kumar’s Gold in 2018.
