Mardaani 2: 'Fearless cop' Rani Mukherji to perform action stunts
Mardaani 2 is an action thriller starring Rani Mukerji as a fearless cop. It is the second installment of the Mardaani franchise which is set to release soon.

The recently released teaser of Mardaani 2 received immense love and positive response. In just 38 seconds, the teaser built up fans' expectations. Rani Mukerji will be seen once again as a fearless cop. Post the poster's release, Rani’s look has been highly appreciated by audiences. Mardaani 2 is an action drama, which revolves around Shivani Shivaji Roy’s story of arresting a young and remorseless serial killer who is raping and murdering young women.
Rani Mukerji as a stunt master
Rani Mukerji’s previous instalment of the Mardaani franchise is also an action drama in which Rani plays a cop trying to capture a human trafficker. She was seen performing some deadly stunts. Mardaani has several fighting sequences that involves Rani and shows the strength and the not so typical feminine side of her. As Mardaani 2 is dealing with a similar storyline, the audience seems to expect some real action again from Rani. The Black actor is undoubtedly stunning and has won many hearts by her acting talent. However, looks like post Mardaani 2’s release, she will also be showered with appreciation for her action stunts as well.
The teaser also gives some glimpse of her fighting scenes from the film. Rani is seen hitting someone inhumanly with no pity as if they have done something unforgivable. According to a news daily’s interview with Rani on the sets of Mardaani 2, she is working hard on her stunts and fighting techniques in the movie. Rani is reported to be working closely with the stunt director, shooting for the sequences in less time.
Mardaani 2 is directed by Gopi Puthran. It also stars Shruti Bapna and Jishu Sengupta. However, the actor who is to play the villain or the serial killer, is yet to be revealed. Mardaani 2 will storm the theatres on December 13, 2019.
