Rani Mukerji is back in action with another powerful, spine-chilling narrative. She portrays the role of a fiery cop, Shivani Shivaji Roy who is fighting tooth and nail on a sexual assault case. The actress can be seen in full form, dressed in uniform taking charge of the situation. Throughout the two minutes, the twenty-second trailer, she can be seen delivering her best, packing punches, and can be seen in fiesty avatars.

The film will reportedly see Rani Mukerji pitted against a 21-year old antagonist. The film was shot majorly in Kota and Jaipur in Rajasthan. Produced under the banner of Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films, the movie is directed by Gopi Puthran. The film is set to hit the silver screens on December 13, 2019. Mardaani 2 is going to be released on December 13, 2019. The daredevil cop is going to return with more action and drama. Rani Mukerji's fans are anticipating this sequel after the teaser was launched. Rani will return to the silver screen after a long break. This Yash Raj production's movie has created a lot of buzz and is one of the most awaited movies of December 2019.
