Deepika Padukone is all set to embrace motherhood for the first time. The actress will welcome her first child with her husband Ranveer Singh in September this year. On May 31, the mom-to-be stepped out for dinner with her family and videos from the same are now going viral on social media. 

Deepika Padukone flaunts baby bump in black 

On May 31, Deepika Padukone was spotted outside a popular restaurant in Mumbai. The Pathaan actress made heads turn in a black dress for her appearance. She opted for a plain plain black midi dress teamed with a denim jacket for the outing. Deepika kept her look minimal with statement earrings. 

She was accompanied by her mother Ujjala Padukone for the dinner outing. Deepika’s husband Ranveer Singh gave the outing a miss. Several photos and videos from the dinner are now going viral on social media. 

When Deepika Padukone was trolled for her baby bump 

On May 20, Deepika Padukone and her husband Ranveer Singh stepped out to cast their vote in the Lok Sabha elections 2024. The actress walked with caution at the polling booth, while her husband assisted her in the same. The Piku actress received a backlash from a section of social media who called her baby bump ‘fake’, making a judgment based on the way she was walking. Fans, followers and members from the industry have stood in support of the actress and have slammed trolls for making outrageous remarks. 

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are expecting their first child in September 2024. The actors announced the news in a joint social media post in February, earlier this year.
