Deepika Padukone was among the several celebrities who attended the sangeet ceremony of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. The pre-wedding festivity of the couple was held on July 5 at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai. The Piku actress arrived at the event in a Tarun Tahiliani saree.

On July 5, Deepika Padukone took to her Instagram account to share a series of photos of her look from the Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant sangeet ceremony. The actress shared the photos with the caption, “Just…coz its a Friday night & 👼🏼 wants to party!!!🤷🏽‍♀️😅”. Her husband Ranveer Singh took to the comment section to write, "Hayyyye! 🥰❤️ my beautiful birthday gift! I love you😘" For the uninitiated, Ranveer Singh will celebrate his 38th birthday on July 6.

The Piku star, who is in the second trimester of her pregnancy, looked as regal as ever in a purple saree. She elevated her look with a sleek bun and a choker necklace. In no time, her fans chimed into the comment section and showered love on the mommy-to-be. "She knows how to steal the spotlight," a social media user commented. "Damn!! Beauty," a fan wrote. Deepika and Ranveer announced their pregnancy in March this year and shared that they are expecting the birth of their baby in September.

She styled her hair in a messy bun and accentuated her look with bow-shaped pearl earrings.

The actress also attended a pre-release event of her recent outing Kalki 2898 AD in June. She donned a black, body-fitted dress for the event. Previosuly, the actress wrapped up shooting for her upcoming film Singham Again, while in the first trimester of her pregnancy.
