Mouni Roy clears the air about her relationship status, here's what the actress had to say

Bollywood and television actress Mouni Roy has often made headlines for her relationship status. The 'Gold' actress was previously linked to 'Brahmastra' director Ayan Mukerji, and before that with her co-star Mohit Raina. The two became a household name after their stint in  'Devon Ke Dev: Mahadev'.

However, recently the actress cleared the air about her alleged link-ups and stated that she and Mohit are 'not even friends' and that she is currently single. In an interview to a leading daily, Roy stated that people who matter to her and know that she is single. 

She further went on to clarify that it is not because of the 'shortage of time' but because she wants to 'compartmentalize' her life, and wants to wait for the right person. 

Roy is currently not just a well-known name in Television but is also making her mark in Bollywood after acting in critically acclaimed films such as 'Gold'. She will next be seen in 'Brahmastra' opposite Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan.

Roy started her Bollywood career with Akshay Kumar's 'Gold', and was then seen in a song titled  'Galli Galli' in Yash's movie 'KGF: Chapter 1'. 

She has now bagged 'Romeo Akbar Walter' and 'Made In China' with Rajkummar Rao. Buzz is that, her name is also being considered for 'Mogul', the biopic on music mogul Gulshan Kumar.
