Muslims Not In Danger: Vikrant Calls India 'Only Liveable Nation', Debunks Communal Narrative

The Sabarmati Report: The Vikrant Massey starrer is all set to hit the big screens on November 15. Produced by Ekta Kapoor, the film is set in the aftermath of the Godhra train burning incident in 2002 as per PTI. Massey will be seen as a vernacular journalist in the upcoming thriller drama that the makers are claiming is "inspired by true events". The film also stars Ridhi Dogra and Raashii Khanna. Ahead of the release, the lead star has shared his opinion on India being the most ‘liveable’ country in the world. He also added that no one in the country is in ‘danger’ irrespective of their religion.

'People say Muslims are in danger, no one is in danger,' says Vikrant Massey 

Ahead of The Sabarmati Report release, Vikrant Massey shared his candid opinions on the current political scenario of the country. The 12th Fail star asserted that he has been to the deep corners of the country and has seen on-ground change for the good the last few years. Speaking with Shubhankar Mishra on his podcast, Unplugged, the actor shared, “Things that I used to think was bad, they actually aren’t bad, from my point of view. The things that I used to like about others aren’t that good in reality. I am also a constantly evolving person. Today I feel it is not as bad. People say Hindus are in danger, but I don’t think they are in danger. People say Muslims are in danger, no one is in danger. Everything is going well.”

He added that India is the best country to live in and the condition elsewhere is much worse. The actor shared, "This is the best country to live in the world. Go to Europe, France, America, you will see and know what is happening. This is the only liveable country right now and this is the only country which is the future of the world."

I don’t see a left anymore: Vikrant Massey clarifies his political stance 

In the same conversation, Vikrant Massey shared that there are only two ideologies prevalent. He shared, “There is a definite right ideology. But there’s an anti-right ideology. I don’t see a left anymore." He went on to share his personal experience by saying he has seen the hometown of his father-in-law develop in the last few years. He added that the infrastructure of the town has gone through several changes and the lifestyle has improved severely.
