Naina Talwar, Deepika Padukone's character from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani taught everyone quite a few things about life and its elements. Many are fond of Kabir Thapar aka Bunny and Naina Talwar from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Fans love Bunny for his wild, carefree attitude and Naina for her wisdom and strength. This movie gained recognition for its dialogues, music and much more. Even the Ranbir-Deepika chemistry in the movie was widely appreciated. The characters taught fans a lot about love, friendship and other aspects of life. According to critics, however, Naina Talwar, played by Deepika Padukone, had few of the best dialogues and character arcs in the films. Here is what Deepika taught everyone through her portrayal of Naina -
1. Simplicity is graceful.
Naina Talwar was one of the simplest characters of the film. She did not have a loud or flamboyant personality. She was just a regular medical student who won hearts with her gracefulness. She was soft-spoken and empathetic. Deepika played the character exceptionally well according to many.
2. Broken things will heal themselves with time.
"paani kaisa lag raha hai?"
"theek!"
"Maine kaha tha na, kuch waqt do, sab theek ho jayega"
Fans still remember Deepika and Ranbir's conversation by the poolside. Naina got her heart broken early in the film. She did not let that affect her. She is also seen talking about how she did not wait for Bunny. Naina Talwar went on to become a successful doctor in the film. It is an attempt to give the message that one should not let heartbreaks get to them.
3. Set what you love, free. If it is meant to be, it will return.
No one can deny the fact that Naina Talwar as a character was extremely strong. Even after confessing her love for Bunny, she made sure she was giving him his space. She knew Bunny's passion to travel the world meant everything to him. She did not force him to stay. Leaving it on fate, she decided to move on. What is meant for you, will find its way.
4. Do not stress over what you are missing out. You cannot have it all, so just live in the moment.
Naina and Bunny watching the sunset by the sea is one of the most popular scenes of the film for the beauty it captured. There she talks about how living in the moment is the only way to be happy. No matter how hard you try, you are sure to miss out on something. So stop stressing over 'what could be' and live with 'what is'.

5. Be courageous in life. It will lead the way for you.
Deepika's character Naina taught viewers that risks are important. You have to be courageous to get what you want in life. When she went on a solo trip with "pachees anjaan log" or when she confessed about how she felt for Bunny, she did not know how it would end up. But she courageously went for it anyway.
This film will forever remain close to people's heart. It talks about change, and about how to embrace it. While fans love all Ranbir Kapoor- Deepika Padukone films, this one remains to be special. Ayan Mukherji (the director) knows just how to engage the audience and still manage to get through life lessons and pearls of wisdom.
