Recently while speaking at a renowned radio network, Nayanthara opened up about her experiences in the film industry. She now reportedly chooses films based on diverse scripts. She has become choosy with her films and picks up films which allow her to showcase her acting skills. The actor stated that she has gained confidence in carrying the film on her shoulders. She also spoke about the film she regretted doing in her career.
One film Nayanthara regrets
According to the actor, her biggest regret is working alongside Suriya in the film Ghajini. The film was directed by AR Murgadoss and Nayanthara essayed the role of a medical student. Though the film went on to become the third highest-grossing Tamil film of the year, Nayanthara was not happy with the role she played. She stated that her character on the script was very different than on screen. The story narrated to her was altered in the final cut of the film. She also added that she felt cheated by the filmmakers.
Interestingly, Nayanthara will be seen in a yet another AR Murgadoss film. The film is titled Darbar and features Rajnikanth in the lead role. The film will also feature Suniel Shetty, Nawab Shah and Dalip Tahil in supporting roles. It is scheduled to release on January 14, 2020.
