Early life

Neha Kakkar said in an interview to a publication that she was never trained in singing. Between the age group of 4 to 16 years, she used to accompany her mother and sisters for Mata Ki Chawki and Jaagrans. Neha Kakkar hails from Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. However, she was brought up in Delhi. Delhi was the place where she completed her education.

Neha Kakkar Career

Neha Kakkar debuted in Indian Idol Season 2 at a young age of 16. This was her first stepping stone to success. According to reports, she later launched her own album in 2008 named Neha-the rockstar. The album was composed by Meet Bros. She made her Bollywood singing debut with the song Dhating Naach of film Phata Poster Nikla Hero. According to reports, her popularity sprung with the song Sunny Sunny along with Honey Singh. Neha was noticed by the filming fraternity in her next song, London Thumakda and later, Kaala Chashma. Likewise, Neha has sung many hit numbers for several films.

On the work front

Neha Kakkar will be singing for songs from the film Pati Patni Aur Woh. She will also be seen singing for Street Dancer which will be releasing in 2020. Neha Kakkar is seen judging the 11th season of Indian Idol.
