Nick Jonas' Karwa Chauth post for Priyanka Chopra draws fun reactions

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas had an unusual way to celebrate their first Karwa Chauth together. Unlike the typical setting that we see in movies, the woman dressed in traditional outfits, with the sieve and pooja thali in her hands, on the terrace, before the man comes to break her fast, ‘Nickyanka’ did so at the Jonas Brothers concert in the USA. The duo’s adorable pictures backstage and Priyanka Chopra dancing with the choodas were among the highlights of their special day. Moreover, their posts for each other also grabbed headlines. The actor called her husband her ‘everything’ and how it was a ‘first’ for someone to celebrate Karwa Chauth at a concert. On the other hand, Nick Jonas had a more emotional reaction to it, expressing pride about Priyanka Chopra being an Indian and a Hindu, and how he loved to participate in the various Indian rituals that brought them immense happiness. While the emotions were strong, netizens had fun-filled reactions to it, coming up with hilarious posts and memes over his message.

Nick on Friday had posted, “My wife is Indian. She is Hindu, and she is incredible in every way. She has taught me so much about her culture and religion. I love and admire her so much, and as you can see we have fun together. Happy Karva Chauth to everyone!”

Most netizens quipped that Nick’s post for Priyanka was written by Priyanka herself. They even shared a meme of a 3 Idiots dialogue. 

Some joked that it sounded like an essay that school kids write. 

Some had a fun reaction over Priyanka sticking out her tongue in the snaps, asking if it was to show she ate ‘gola.’ And they also posted the popular Akshay Kumar dialogue from Hera Pheri.

This is not the first time that netizens had poked fun at the couple. Recently, when Priyanka Chopra had got  Nick Jonas’ age 'wrong', the social media users had trolled the actor for saying he was 27, though he was 26 then, as his birthday was just a few days away. Their appearance at the Met Gala had also drawn similar reactions, with numerous memes.

Meanwhile, not just for the person Priyanka is, Nick Jonas is also a fan of her acting chops. After her recent movie The Sky is Pink released, Nick Jonas penned a touching note on Instagram, “This film touched my heart in so many ways.
