Pagalpanti: Anil Kapoor talks about playing Wi-Fi in the film

Anil Kapoor is all set up for his upcoming movie Pagalpanti, in which he is playing the character of 'Wi-Fi'. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film also features Ileana D’Cruz, Arshad Warsi and John Abraham in lead roles. The flick is produced by the trio, Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat, and Abhishek Pathak. According to reports, the film will be shot in London and is slated to release on November 22, 2019.

Anil Kapoor to play the character Wi-Fi in Pagalpanti

In an interview with a media house, Anil Kapoor revealed his views on his character Wi-Fi in the film. He said that on sets, he is always well connected with everyone and thinks his character as Wi-Fi is perfect for him. Talking about his conscious choices regarding films, he further said that the beauty of comedy lies in the writing. He added that his films such as Total Dhamaal, Welcome and many more had genuinely funny scripts and they had helped him out to play his role well. 

Anil Kapoor’s Bollywood journey

Anil Kapoor, who started his Bollywood journey from a cameo role in 1979’s Hamare Tumhare, has completed almost four decades in the industry.

He told PTI, “My journey started with Woh Saat Din, I started getting work and after many ups and downs, I became successful. I feel pleased when the audience and fans connect me with 'Mr. Jhakkas'. It feels that my work has left an impact on my fans."

In a career span of almost four decades, Anil Kapoor has delivered many hits such as Ram Lakhan, Mr India, Beta, Nayak, Taal, Judaai and many more.
