Panipat: Arjun Kapoor introduces Mohnish Bahl as Nana Saheb Peshwa

Arjun Kapoor took to his social media accounts to introduce Mohnish Bahl as Nana Saheb Peshwa in a poster of the film Panipat. The film is based on the real story of the third battle fought in Panipat and is slated to release on December 6, 2019. The extensive cast includes Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Sanjay Dutt, Mohnish Bahl, Padmini Kolhapure, amongst many others. The trailer of the epic drama had released on YouTube on November 4, 2019. The film is directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar.

Arjun Kapoor introduced Mohnish Bahl of Kuch Toh Log Kahenge television series fame. He will be essaying the role of Nana Saheb Peshwa. In the period drama Panipat, Mohnish-Nana will be the leader of the Maratha kingdom and also the one who elects Sadashiv Rao, played by Arjun Kapoor, as the leader of the great the Kingdom for the third war. The Ashutosh Gowarikar-directorial will witness a combat between protagonist Arjun Kapoor's character Sadashiv Rao and antagonist Sanjay Dutt's character Ahmad Shah Abdali. Other star cast includes Kriti Sanon as Parvati Bai, the love interest of Arjun Kapoor's character and Padmini Kolhapure as Gopika Bai. The trailer which was released earlier saw Bollywood celebrities showering praises. Netizens have also appreciated the trailer of this much-anticipated period drama.
