Panipat: Sanjay Dutt is playing the role of Ahmad Shah Abdali

Panipat is an upcoming historical action drama based on the third battle of Panipat that happened in the year 1761. The movie is a war sequence fought between the Marathas and the King of Afghanistan, Ahmad Shah Abdali. Arjun Kapoor will be seen as Sadashiv Rao Bhau and Sanjay Dutt as Ahmad Shah Abdali. Sanjay Dutt is cast in a negative role as Ahmad Shah Abdali, the king of Afghanistan. A year ago, it was reported that Sanjay Dutt is going on a special diet for this role. This diet reportedly consisted of fewer carbs and fats and is more rich in protein like chicken, salads, and fish. The actor has to wear heavy costumes in the movie, for which the actor was making sure that he is eating right and following a rigorous workout routine on the sets. Reports suggest that Sanjay Dutt has undergone costume, hair and make-up trials, and his bald look in several social events is already receiving immense attention from the audience.
