Pati Patni Aur Woh: A remake of the 1978 drama comedy by the same name

Pati Patni Aur Woh will release on December 6, 2019. It features Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday in a drama-comedy backdrop with romance.

Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar will be seen together in Pati Patni Aur Woh. The film is a remake of the 1978 iconic film by the same name. The original featured Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha and Ranjeeta in lead roles. the film is a comedic take on extra-marital affairs.

Pati Patni Aur Woh (1978)

The original film revolved around the story of a married man named Ranjeet who falls in love with his secretary whilst being married to someone else. The lead character then tries to gain sympathy from his new secretary and successfully does the same. Everything gets out of hands when Ranjeet's wife gets suspicious of him and starts spying on him. Ranjeet is eventually busted and all hell breaks loose. The film was produced and directed by B.R Chopra.

What to expect from the remake?

Not many details about the plot have been released publically. It is reported that the film will be heavily inspired by the original and will include key plot points from it. The film promises to tickle the funny bone of the audience members. As per media reports, promotions of the film begin next month. A trailer for the film is expected to drop soon along with posters.
