Venkata Satyanarayana Prabhas Raju Uppalapati popularly known as Prabhas is an Indian actor who works in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu films. He made his screen debut with the 2002 Telugu drama film Eeswar. Prabhas is well-known for his works in the movies Varsham, Chakram, Darling and many more. Baahubali Franchise

The Baahubali Franchise consists of two movies, Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali: The Conclusion (2017). Prabhas played the role of Mahendra Baahubali and Amnendra Baahubali which were critically acclaimed. The impact of the roles played by Prabhas was such that both films became one of the highest-grossing movies. The action drama movies were helmed by S.S Rajamouli. The movies also starred Rana Daggubati. Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia in pivotal roles.

Darling

Darling the 2010 rom-com drama movie is reportedly considered as one of the important films of Prabhas's career because the actor rose to fame after that. Prabhas played the character of Prabhas in the movie. The plot of the film revolves around Prabhas who is saving himself from an unwanted marriage to a gangster’s daughter. The role was critically acclaimed and reportedly Prabhas was nicknamed as ‘darling’ after the movie. The movie was directed by A. Karunakaran and featured Kajal Aggarwal, Shraddha Das and Prabhu in significant roles.

Chatrapathi

Chatrapathi the S.S Rajamouli directorial is an action-drama movie released in the year 2005. Prabhas portrayed the role of Sivaji in the movie. The story is based on how Sivaji overcomes the oppression in the Vizag port by a local rowdy and how he reunites with his long lost mother and brother. The fans and followers of Prabhas appreciated his role as Sivaji. The film also stars Bhanupriya, Shriya Saran and Safi in primary roles.

Mirchi

Mirchi is a 2013 action-drama movie directed by Koratala Siva. Prabhas was seen playing the role of Jai in the movie. The plot of the film is based on Jai’s return to his country in order to reform his girlfriend’s violent family, but he seems to have a strange connection with his dark past. The film also starred Anushka Shetty and Richa Gangopadhyay in pivotal roles.
