For the unversed, the actor essayed the role of the antagonist in the film. Babbar shares how he got a call from BR Chopra, a conversation which mentioned Zeenat Aman's name. Babbar at the time was almost too surprised to believe that it was the Zeenat Aman who was being mentioned. As per his conversation with Chopra, Aman had agreed to star with new faces but she would be vetting. He said, 'I have spoken to Zeenat' and I was thinking, ‘Who Zeenat?’ but I was sitting in BR Chopra’s office, and if a Zeenat is being mentioned, it has to be Zeenat Aman." Babbar recalled Chopra adding, "She is ready to work with two new actors. We have to make you meet her."
