Rakul Preet Singh’s career has been on an upward-moving trajectory. The actress who won five Miss India pageant titles said that she joined the competition for the sake of some more pocket money, in an interview to a media portal. Rakul Preet has come a long way from participating in pageants to becoming one of the most coveted actors in the South Indian film industry. 1. Venkatadri Express: Sundeep Kishan

Rakul Preet Singh made her film debut in the Kannada film Gili but the actress gained her star status by giving back-to-back hits in the Telugu industry. Venkatadri Express is a romantic –comedy film released in 2014 which had a fresh pairing of Rakul Preet Singh and Sundeep Kishan. The film turned out to be a box-office hit and profitable for both the stars. The film also helped Rakul Preet Singh to gain her first Filmfare Best Actress Award nomination.

2. Loukyam: Gopichand

Rakul Preet Singh proved her interest in comedies with this film. Comedy is considered to one of the toughest genres in the film industry but Rakul Preet Singh along with co-star Gopichand delivered this epic romantic-comedy for their fans. Loukyam’s box-office success was so immense that the film was dubbed in four other languages namely Kannada, Bengali, Tamil, and Hindi.

3. Kick 2 – Ravi Teja

Kick 2 gave Rakul Preet Sinh a chance to work with South superstar Ravi Teja. The film was a sequel of Kick which starred Ravi Teja as well. The on-screen pairing and Ravi Teja’s presence with franchise lead the film to be a box-office success. Kick 2 released in 2015 was the ninth-highest Telugu grossing film in the United States. Ravi Teja played a double role in this film which his fans appreciated in the form of thunderous box-office collections.

4. Spyder – Mahesh Babu

Rakul Preet Singh’s graph kept on rising with the number of hit films that she was delivering. Another feather was added to the cap with this 2017 action-thriller film where Rakul Preet Singh got the chance to work opposite with another South superstar Mahesh Babu. Spyder was directed by A R Murugadoss who is famously known to direct Aamir Khan’s Ghajini.
