Ranbir Kapoor & Alia Bhatt's wedding invitation: Fake or Real?

A wedding invitation is currently being circulated, which has taken the internet by storm. The couple to be wed, according to the invitation, are none other than the promising actors of the Indian film industry - Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. The wedding invitation is being circulated on various social media platforms and it claims that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are set to tie the knot on January 22, 2020.

Viral wedding invitation: Real or Fake? 

The wedding invitation reads, "Mrs. Neetu & Mr. Rishi Kapoor cordially invite you for the Sagan Ceremony of their son Ranbir with Aliya (D/o Mrs. Soni & Mr. Mukesh Bhatt on wednessday, 22th January, 2020 5:00 pm onwards." The ceremony is allegedly supposed to take place at the Umaid Bhawan Palace, which is in Jodhpur. 

However, Alia Bhatt's name on the invitation is spelt wrong. It says 'Aliya' instead of 'Alia'. Also, her father's name on the invitation is wrong. The invitation says 'Mukesh Bhatt' instead of 'Mahesh Bhatt'. This could evidently mean that the wedding invitation that is getting fans excited is indeed a fake one.

This is not the first time that the grapevine has been abuzz with rumours around a Bollywood couple and one can say that it surely will not be the last time. Earlier, there were rumours about Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's relationship and wedding, that were spreading like a wildfire on the internet, before their actual wedding. These fake invitations are a testimony to the general public's obsession with the life of the stars. As far as the real wedding goes, only time shall tell how it will unfold, if it does at all.

Upcoming movie by the couple 

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will be next seen in the 2020 fantasy adventure movie Brahmastra. The movie will be directed by Ayan Mukerji and will be produced by Dharma Productions and Fox Star Studio. The movie will feature Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles, along with Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and others.
